The Register of Entity-Specific Risk Parameters

The Register of Entity-Specific Risk Parameters

The Register of Entity-Specific Risk Parameters is an on-line platform with reporting and analytical functions, based on data sent by entities. As part of the model proposed, the safety level indicators were developed, for both individual entities and railway market segments. The model established consists of four general indicators, defined on a quarterly basis, for various types of railway entities. Irrespective of the entity type, these indicators are defined on the basis of four auxiliary indicators of the Reference Risk Value (RRV), determined using the methodology arising from the Commission Decision of 5 June 2009, the general number and consequences of railway incidents in the analysed period, the data regarding the implemented and certified Safety Management Systems of individual entities, and the data regarding vehicles used by a given entity. It should also be stressed that all data entered in the systems may be converted to a PDF file which may then be used, e.g., in drawing up the annual safety reports, in accordance with Article 17(a), Par. 4 he Act of 28 March 2003 on railway transport (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2015, Item 1297 as amended).
