Monthly statistics including data for November have been published. Statistics are divided into passenger and freight segments.
The number of passengers in November 2015 rose by 7,9% in comparison to November 2014, which is the biggest monthly increase this year. Transport performance grew by as much as 17,3%, which is also the highest growth in 2015. The average distance travelled by one passenger was 55,6 km in November 2014, while in 2015 it was 60,4 km. Taking the first eleven months of 2015 into consideration, the number of passengers increased by 3,6% and transport performance by 8,7%.
The weight of transported cargo increased in November by 0,4%. It is the first time since May that freight transport grew in terms of weight and the second time this year. Transport performance grew by 4,4%. Like in the previous month, the average distance of transport increased on the year to year basis, this time from 218,8 km in November 2014 to 227,5 km in November 2015. Taking the first eleven months of 2015 into consideration, weight of transported cargo decreased by 1,9% and transport performance slightly rose by 0,8%.
