Spring timetable adjustment

14.03.2023

On 12 March 2023 came into force the spring adjustment of the annual timetable, which took into account next phases of modernisation works on the Polish railway network. Trains according to this timetable will run until 10 June. The new timetables are displayed on posters at stations and stops.

During the 2022/2023 timetable the national infrastructure manager, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., planned four adjustments due to renovation works on railway network. Next timetable changes are still scheduled for 11 June, 3 September and 12 November 2023.

Details of the new timetable should be announced at least 21 days before they come into force on the infrastructure manager's website. Meanwhile, posters should appear at stations and platforms or access routes at least 10 days in advance. The future timetable should also be available on the rail operators' websites, although the law does not impose specific publication deadlines.

The last timetable revision brought many changes, which were to the benefit of travellers. Below are the most important ones:

  • From 12 March 2023 direct rail services are provided between Radom, Warka and Piaseczno and Modlin, Legionowo and Wieliszew.
  • Airport trains from/to Modlin will run again via Warszawa Centralna, Warszawa Zachodnia to/from Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina station.
  • Train traffic will be reinstated on the modernised Drzymałowo - Wolsztyn route.
  • In Lubuskie Voivodeship trains will return to the line from Zbąszynek to Czerwieńsk.
