2021/2022 timetable changes in March

16.03.2022

On Sunday, 13 March 2022, the spring correction of the annual timetable came into force. The changes are introduced due to modernisation works on the Polish railway network. Under this timetable trains will run until 11 June 2022.

During the 2021/2022 timetable the Polish infrastructure manager, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., has scheduled four corrections related to renovation works on the railway network. The next changes are scheduled for 12 June, 4 September and 6 November 2022.

Any changes to a timetable should be announced at least 21 days before their entry into force on the infrastructure manager's website. Passenger stations’ managers are under obligation to publish a new timetable at least 10 days in advance to the introduction of a new timetable or timetable changes. Appropriate information should appear on posters or boards at train stations, platforms or passageways to platforms. The updated timetable should also be available on the rail carriers' websites, although the Polish law does not impose any specific publication dates.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is still necessary to cover the mouth and nose with a mask in public transport.

Citizens of Ukraine can travel for free on selected trains in Poland. Detailed information can be found in the announcement posted on the UTK website.
