New open access decisions

The President of the Office of Rail Transport granted open access to two rail passenger carriers. On the basis of the issued decisions, Koleje Mazowieckie will be able to launch connections from Warszawa Zachodnia to Ustka and RegioJet from Warszawa Wschodnia to Ostend in Belgium.

Koleje Mazowieckie will launch rail services on Warszawa Zachodnia - Ustka route (outward and return) operated daily during summer holidays from 2022 to 2026. The route will be via: Warszawa Zachodnia, Warszawa Centralna, Warszawa Wschodnia, Legionowo, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Nasielsk, Ciechanów, Mława Miasto, Działdowo, Iława Główna, Prabuty, Malbork, Tczew, Gdańsk Główny, Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, Gdańsk Oliwa, Sopot, Gdynia Główna, Wejherowo, Lębork, Słupsk and Ustka. Details of these rail services are specified in the administrative decision can be found in the Official Journal of the President of the Office of Rail Transport

RegioJet is planning to launch trains on Warszawa Wschodnia - Ostend route. In accordance with RegioJet’s application, the President of the Office of Rail Transport specified in the decision that the carrier would run one pair of trains every day, which would stop at the following stations: Warszawa Wschodnia*, Warszawa Centralna*, Warszawa Zachodnia*, Łowicz Główny*, Kutno*, Konin*, Września*, Poznań Główny*, Świebodzin*, Rzepin*, Frankfurt (Oder), Berlin Ostbahnhof, Berlin Hbf., Hannover, Amsterdam Centraal, Schiphol, Den Haag HS, Rotterdam Centraal, Roosendaal, Antwerpen-Centraal, Brussel-Central, Brussel -Zuid, Gent-Sint-Pietres, Brugge, Oostende (at the stations marked with * in the direction of Ostend, it will be possible, as planned by RegioJet, to board a train only and on return route only to get off on a train).
