24 September
On the first day of the Fair there will be an official signing of the Cooperation Agreement between UTK (as the national safety authority) and the European Union Agency for Railways held. The document describes the division of tasks within the framework of the 4th Railway Package. – The 4th Railway Package will enter into force in Poland in the middle of next year. We all must prepare accordingly – both the public administration, as well as the railway undertakings. The agreement with EUAR will become an essential element influencing the way the rolling stock is authorised for use and the issuing of single safety certificates – announces Ignacy Góra, the President of UTK. All those willing to take part in the event are invited to the reception hall of the 1st floor of the conference centre of the International Gdańsk Fair AMBEREXPO at 13:00 hrs.
25 September
This day will be devoted to railway safety. The topic will be discussed among the representatives of the railway market within the framework of the Debate on the State of the Railway’s Safety.
26 September
For the first time at TRAKO one may participate in a free-of-charge training organised by the UTK Academy. The workshop will deal with the process of issuing authorisations for use of the rolling stock in the framework of the regulations set forth in the 4th Railway Package. 27 September
On this day, dubbed Education and Career Day, we invite all the interested parties, that look for an interesting job or eager to discover what our Office can offer as an employer. On this day there will also be the Passenger Rights’ Ombudsman present (the stall will be placed in the hall of the exhibition centre), who will answer all the questions regarding the passenger rights and the alternative dispute resolution possibilities when it comes to railway carriers. Another attraction of this day is the final event of the TRAKO for Children programme, during which we will organise a lesson for the youngest ones on railway safety with the framework of the Railway ABC Campaign.
Individual meetings
The fair also enables meetings with representatives of UTK with those of the railway undertakings. Yet again we offer the possibility to set a meeting date with our employees. We have divided the fair days by topics: 24 September – issues on interoperability, 25 September – railway safety, 26 September – market regulation and oversight. You can set your meeting on the desired topic with the use of this form (Polish version only).
