In 2017 the trains of passengers railways undertakings transported 304 m passengers at the total distance of 162.3 m km. The transport performance was at the level of 20.3 bn pass-km. It is by 3.8%, 1.4% and 5.9% more than in 2016 respectively. Although there was some renewals and modernization on railway infrastructure, the results could have been improved.
