In March 2017, the number of passengers was 6.4% higher than in the same period the year before. Analogically, the transport performance and the operational performance got increased by 8.4% and 5.0% respectively. 26 m passengers transported in March 2017 mean that this month recorded the number of passengers higher that any month of 2016.
While comparing the 1st quarter of 2017 to the same period of 2016, we have got 3.7 m passengers more (+5.1%) and even 6.9 m passengers more compared to the 1st quarter of 2015 (+10%). The increase was even higher as far as transport performance is concerned (by 20% compared to Q1 2015).
This mean still more interest in long distance journeys. The average distance also increased to the level of 60 km compared to March 2016 (2% more).
